Job Description

Overview We are a family-oriented, mom-and-pop style auto repair shop seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles in a friendly, community-focused environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and passionate about automotive work, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and other vehicle components. Use your own tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations. Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's condition and repair needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Manage multiple service orders throughout the day in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role preferred. Must have your own set of tools necessary for automotive repair tasks. Valid driver's license required for test-driving vehicles and related duties. Ability to work independently in a mom-and-pop style shop environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality service.
