Greet customers promptly and pleasantly Communicates with customers to determine the reason for the visit and the nature of the mechanical problem and/or scheduled maintenance Perform vehicle walk around with customer to determine needed repairs. Review vehicle maintenance history and make recommendations Provide the customer with available options for repairs while explaining the benefits of timely repairs Sell recommended service work to customers based upon mechanics diagnosis Provide the customer with a written cost estimate of repairs and an estimated time needed for repairs Inform dispatcher of incoming work and ensure customer s needs are understood by the technician Follow up with technicians and the parts department on the progress of repairs to ensure timely completion of work Notify customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed. (Minimum of 2x per day) Verify warranty and service contract coverage and administer claims for qualifying repairs Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction Review completed work and charges with the customer and/or send a digital invoice for online payment. Daily collaboration with the BDC team including prompt response to customer inquiriesQualifications:
