We are a service provider for Ignition Interlock Devices (IIDs) for clients who have been convicted of OWI/DUI. We are looking for a hands-on individual with a mechanical aptitude to perform follow-up services for these devices such as Recalibrating and Removing. Ideal candidates will have an interest in continually improving their skills to become an installer. Due to conflict of interest, we cannot accept applications from those who have an active DUI/OWI case, or if you are court ordered to obtain an Ignition Interlock Device. This position involves working between two shops: Mequon (Mon) and West Allis (Tue

VALID LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED
  • occasional mobile services are required, and additional mileage compensation is provided for all mobile work.
Ignition interlock devices (IIDs) prevent the operation of a client's vehicle if alcohol is present in their breath sample. As a recalibrator/remover, your responsibilities would include performing the required 60-day Monitoring/Recalibration services, as well as Violation Resets, Removals, etc. Individuals wishing to increase their wages can train to ultimately become an installer if they wish. Experience is preferred, but not required , we encourage anyone with a mechanical aptitude and reliable work ethic to apply, and we provide on-the-job training! You must provide your own tools, but consumable materials are provided (shrink wrap, solder, posi-taps,etc). Tools typically required for the Recalibrator/Remover position include, but are not limited to:
  • 7mm, 8mm, 10mm sockets (1/4" drive, good idea to have both standard and deep sockets)
  • 1/4" drive ratchet wrench
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • T10, T15, T20, T25, T30
    torx bits
  • Wire snips/cutters
  • Wire strippers
  • Soldering iron/torch
  • Dash panel pry tools (plastic) Again, this position not NOT currently include Health Insurance! Technical Duties
  • Service clients on a monthly to bi-monthly basis using unique programs
  • Perform removals for clients completing their IID sentence
  • Diagnose device errors and replace when necessary
  • Occasionally perform mobile removals and service work using your own vehicle

MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Administrative Duties
  • Keep the shop clean
  • Monitor inventory at your shop using a scanner
  • Monitor shop calendar and complete appointments as required
  • Submit shop supply orders as required
  • Schedule follow-up calibration/monitoring appointments
