Rapids Ford in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking full time Automotive Technician to join our winning team. We are a family owned and operated business and provide an excellent work environment. We offer a strong hourly rate with a weekly bonus for productivity. Would prefer a Certified Ford Technician, but will train the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Changing oil, lubricating chassis, mount and balance tires Inspect and test vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made Experienced at Engine and Transmission repair and rebuilds preferred Knowledge of electrical diagnosis and repair a plus Perform warranty repairs and updates Other automotive repairs as necessary Applicants should have the desire to increase their skills and abilities, towards a certified line tech position
JOB REQUIREMENTS
As an Automotive Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician Dealership experience is a plus Domestic and Import Experience High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required Hold a valid driver's license Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic scan tools, AC equipment, etc. Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
