Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle repair will drive excellence! Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and wheel alignments to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems within automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service diesel engines and perform maintenance on GM vehicles or other makes as required, adhering to industry standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. WV State Inspection License or willing to obtain one. Qualifications Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and vehicle systems. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, powertrain repairs, transmissions, and vehicle suspension system repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient troubleshooting. Ability to perform all kinds of tire services. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
