Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where your enthusiasm for vehicle maintenance and mechanical work will drive customer satisfaction and vehicle performance. In this energetic role, you will perform essential lubrication services, basic repairs, and routine maintenance to keep vehicles running smoothly. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure every customer leaves confident in their vehicle's health, while you gain valuable experience in automotive diagnostics and service. Duties Conduct oil changes efficiently using appropriate hand tools and power tools, ensuring all manufacturer specifications are met. Perform tire service including rotations, replacements, and inspections to promote safety and optimal vehicle handling. Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle stability and tire longevity. Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to fluid leaks, brake systems, or other minor repairs. Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, checking fluid levels, and inspecting belts and hoses. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance needs when appropriate. Skills Dealership experience or automotive repair background highly preferred for a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment essential for efficient workflow. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general repairs. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Strong customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle needs. Sales aptitude for recommending additional services or products that benefit the customer's vehicle performance.
