Duties Erect metal building frameworks and assemble pole barn structures according to detailed construction plans and schematics Install sheet metal panels, flashing, trim, and siding with accuracy and attention to detail Read blueprints and technical drawings to interpret project specifications and ensure proper assembly Perform framing tasks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment for precise dimensional measurements and cuts Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing when required for foundation work Manage construction site activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination with other trades such as roofing or drywall installation Operate heavy machinery safely to support construction processes while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in metal building erection, framing, sheet metal installation, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, siding, drywall or stucco is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during framing and assembly tasks Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork Valid experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute their expertise in pole barn construction while advancing their skills across multiple trades.
