Job Summary

Avionics Technician (Fixed Wing / Aircraft Avionics)

We are seeking experienced avionics professionals to join a growing aircraft completions team in Arkansas. This role supports avionics troubleshooting, repairs, testing, modifications, and system installations across multiple fixed wing aircraft platforms. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, competitive compensation, and room for career growth.

Compensation & Benefits

    Hourly Rate:

    $40.00/hour

      Annual Earnings:

      Most contractors earn approximately $85,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime

        Per Diem:

        Up to $43,680 annually (tax-free), based on $840.00/week in tax-exempt per diem

        5:00 AM

        • 3:30 PM
        • 2nd
        Shift:

        3:30 PM

        • 2:00 AM or 12:00 AM
        • 3rd
        Shift:

        11:00 PM

        • 7:00 AM or 12:00 AM
        • 8:00 AM
        Weekend Shift:

        Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM

        • 5:30 PM (3x12 Schedule)
          Key Responsibilities
        • Perform avionics troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and modifications on fixed wing aircraft
        • Install, inspect, and test avionics systems, wiring, components, and related equipment
        • Troubleshoot electrical and avionics discrepancies using wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
        • Perform operational checks and system testing to verify proper function and compliance
        • Support aircraft completions, modifications, and return-to-service activities
        • Accurately document completed work, discrepancies, and corrective actions
        • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards
        • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence
          Qualifications
        • Minimum 4+ years of fixed wing avionics experience required
        • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and modifying aircraft avionics systems required
        • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering documentation
        • Experience with business jet or corporate aircraft platforms preferred
        • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
        • Ability to work independently and within a team-focused aircraft maintenance environment
