Job Description

Job Summary

Perform aircraft maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, removal and installation of aircraft components.

Accomplish maintenance in accordance with:

Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM)

Structural Repair Manuals (SRM)

Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)

Engineering Orders (EO)

Work cards/task cards

Customer specifications

FAA regulations

DBP Repair Station procedures

Perform aircraft paint-related maintenance, including removal/installation or protection of components as required for the paint process.

Assist with aircraft strip, preparation, masking, painting and reassembly activities as assigned.

Perform mechanical troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.

Inspect work and identify discrepancies before aircraft release.

Perform functional checks after maintenance.

Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and paperwork.

Properly document work performed, parts replaced and discrepancies corrected.

Follow applicable FAA Part 145 procedures and company Quality Control requirements.

Coordinate with inspectors, leads, supervisors and other maintenance personnel.

Follow all aircraft safety, fall-protection, chemical-handling and workplace safety requirements.

Safely use aircraft ground-support equipment, ladders, lifts and other maintenance equipment.

Assist with aircraft towing/movement when qualified and authorized.

Requirements

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.

Relevant commercial aircraft maintenance experience.

Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical data.

Understanding of FAA maintenance requirements.

Ability to complete accurate maintenance documentation.

Experience with Boeing/Airbus aircraft can be valuable.

Ability to work at heights and around aircraft/ground equipment.

Ability to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required by the operation.

Valid driver's license may be required.
