This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives on pushing the boundaries of avionics craftsmanship while mentoring a dynamic team. If the thought of transforming aircraft to exceed client expectations excites you, this role promises both challenge and reward.Responsibilities:
Lead and guide teams by directing daily operations on the shop floor and serving as acting General Manager during absences. Resolve complex installation issues and serve as the technical go-to resource for the team. Mentor technicians by training and developing team members to foster career growth and build a high-performing group. Manage team performance, including attendance, compliance, and accountability. Ensure quality and compliance by conducting inspections and completing final close-outs in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and customer standards. Drive continuous improvement by implementing Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and maintaining comprehensive records. Install, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems to restore aircraft to safe, service-ready condition. Enhance customer experience by engaging with clients and building strong, long-lasting relationships.Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general aviation or related fields. Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot avionics systems on corporate and private aircraft. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings. Proficiency in installing harnesses and programming avionics systems. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport screening clearance. Preferred experience with pitot-static testing, cabin entertainment and Wi-Fi systems, and avionics brands such as Garmin and Honeywell.Benefits & Perks:
