WORK HOURS
FULL
TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
1st and 2nd shift - all candidates submitted must be willing to work both shifts.
The possibly of OT is expected. Contractors will be asked to work weekends
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing
Troubleshoots pre-flight and post-flight functions for delivery, inspect and document non-conformance on items with medium complexity.
Project :
787 Aircraft modifications
Maintain a clean and FOD free work area
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Requirements
5 years of professional experience with avionics
Must know how to run a flight deck with little to no help
Experience with hydraulics - seeking candidates who know how to turn hydraulics on, etc.
Experience with flight controls
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): Client experience is a plus
A&P certification is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting, bending, standing, operating machinery, working outside 30% of the time.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
TRAVEL:
There is possible travel for training.
