SUPERIOR SKILLED TRADES IS HIRING PROPULSION TECHNICIANS

MONTHS START:

ASAP Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Propulsion Technicians to support aerospace propulsion systems, fluid systems, test operations, and launch-site ground support equipment in Cape Canaveral, FL. This is a hands-on opportunity for technicians with experience in precision tubing, pneumatic systems, high-pressure gas systems, and aerospace or industrial fluid systems . Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment where precision, quality, and attention to detail are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fabricate, bend, route, and install precision tubing used in aerospace fluid and propulsion systems Work with stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, and other specialty materials Build and install pneumatic panels, manifolds, valves, regulators, gauges, and fittings Install and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and propellant support systems Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation Perform tubing layout, measuring, cutting, deburring, flaring, and precision bending Perform system assembly, modifications, repairs, and upgrades Support pressure testing, leak testing, system verification, and commissioning Work alongside engineers, welders, quality personnel, and other skilled trades Follow strict aerospace safety, quality, cleanliness, and documentation requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to aerospace and site safety standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as a Propulsion Technician, Aerospace Technician, Mechanical Technician, Tube Fitter, Fluid Systems Technician, or similar Strong experience with precision tube bending and installation Experience assembling pneumatic panels from drawings or schematics Experience with high-pressure gas systems, tubing, fittings, and components Experience with Swagelok or equivalent compression fittings Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work overtime and extended hours as required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Aerospace, propulsion, launch operations, test stand, or spaceflight experience Experience working with cryogenic or high-pressure fluid systems Experience in contamination-controlled or clean environments Leak detection experience, including helium, nitrogen, or soap bubble testing OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training Forklift, manlift, or overhead crane experience

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in industrial, outdoor, and active test environments Must be comfortable working in a safety-critical aerospace environment
