Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related engineering documentation tools. Job Responsibilities Create and modify virtual solid models for new and existing aviation products. Develop detailed component, system, and full assembly designs. Create 3D CAD models using SolidWorks. Generate engineering drawings and design documentation. Perform tolerance stack-up analyses to verify component and assembly fit. Calculate mass properties for components and assemblies. Apply design for manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability principles. Incorporate MIL-SPEC, FAA, and applicable commercial aviation requirements into designs. Document engineering design requirements and specifications. Support modifications and upgrades to existing aviation designs. Participate in integrated engineering and design activities. Ensure design work complies with AS9100 and applicable quality requirements. Support aircraft-related design activities in shop, field, and aircraft environments.
