Job Description:
GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry. Avionic Installer (GA / Turboprop Aircraft)
Location:
Jacksonville, FL The Sr. Avionic Installer is responsible for installing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This role focuses on general aviation and turboprop aircraft, requiring strong experience with avionics installations, wiring, and integration of systems, including Garmin platforms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, modify, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems and components Perform wiring, harness fabrication, termination, and routing Install avionics equipment including radios, navigation systems, GPS, and displays Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and functional checks Ensure all installations meet FAA regulations and company standards Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner Work independently or as part of a team in a production or MRO environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area all safety procedures and company guidelines Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability

  • Diagnoses and resolves avionics system issues effectively Summary of Education, Experience & Certification High School diploma or equivalent required.
