Job Summary

Avionics Technician - Line Maintenance

We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support commercial aircraft line maintenance operations in Miami, Florida. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft electrical and avionics systems in a fast-paced airline maintenance environment.   Work Schedule

• On-site position in Miami, Florida
  
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
  
• On-call availability may be required to support operational needs
  Key Responsibilities
  
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  
• Perform line maintenance activities including daily checks, transit inspections, service checks, and corrective maintenance
  
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving communication, navigation, flight control, electrical, and avionics systems
  
• Remove, install, test, and repair avionics components and associated wiring systems
  
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical publications
  
• Perform operational checks, functional tests, and system validations following maintenance actions
  
• Accurately document maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, flight crews, and fellow technicians to ensure aircraft readiness and on-time departures
  
• Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and time-sensitive maintenance requirements as needed
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety standards
  Qualifications
  
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
  
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial aircraft line maintenance experience required
  
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems preferred
  
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, avionics components, and maintenance practices
  
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation
  
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation requirements
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  
• Valid drivers license required
  
• Ability to pass airport security background checks and obtain required airport credentials
  
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  Physical Requirements
  
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, kneel, and climb ladders or maintenance stands for extended periods
  
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  
• Ability to work around aircraft, moving equipment, loud noise, and industrial hazards
  
• Ability to access confined spaces and elevated work areas as required
  
• Sufficient visual acuity to read technical documentation and perform detailed avionics troubleshooting
  Preferred Qualifications
  
• Previous airline, MRO, or Part 145 Repair Station experience
  
• Experience troubleshooting communication, navigation, flight management, and electrical systems
  
• Experience supporting Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft platforms
  
• Familiarity with aircraft data systems and electronic maintenance documentation platforms
  
• Additional avionics training, certifications, or manufacturer courses preferred
  
• Previous AOG and overnight line maintenance experience preferred
  
• Military avionics maintenance experience transferable to commercial aviation environments preferred
