Job Description
Support Technician - Avionics - 18748 Description Avionics Support Technician is responsible for effectively performing avionics routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C, and D checks. This position will be working swing shift (4:00PM-2:30AM). What you will be responsible for: Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation. Reads, understands, and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft. Troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and supervision. Performing avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and supervision. Performing avionics and electrical modifications with supervision. Understanding engineering methodology for systems installations. Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Aviation or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
