Job Description

CNC Machinist responsible for setting up, programming, operating, inspecting, and maintaining CNC and manual machining equipment used to produce precision components. Job Requirements Experience setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components Strong working knowledge of G-code and M-code programming Experience editing CNC programs at the machine Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques Experience maintaining tight machining tolerances Experience performing tool changes and managing tool life Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment Preferred Skills Experience operating CNC mills Experience operating CNC lathes Experience with manual mills and lathes Experience operating drill presses Experience operating surface grinders Experience operating boring machines Experience with deburring and hand-finishing operations Experience troubleshooting CNC or manual machining equipment Experience performing routine machine maintenance Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machining equipment Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and boring machines Program and edit CNC G-code and M-code Adjust machine settings, speeds, feeds, offsets, and tooling to maintain required tolerances Machine precision components according to blueprints and technical specifications Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments Verify dimensional and specification compliance throughout the machining process Perform deburring and hand-finishing operations Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear Manage tool life during machining operations Perform routine machine maintenance Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues Maintain machining processes to support production efficiency and dimensional accuracy
Pay:
