PAY RATE:
$35-47/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Clearance:
Secret Clearance required prior to start (interim acceptable).
Shift:
Full-time, onsite, first shift (6:30 AM 3:00 PM)

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support of aircraft egress systems and associated components. Maintain aircraft seats and canopy ejection systems, gaseous O2 systems, fire extinguishing systems, air conditioning, cockpit heat, pressurization, and ventilation systems. Remove and install oxygen system valves, gauges, converters, and regulators. Remove, install, inspect, and rig ejection seats, Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADS), shoulder harnesses, and lap belts. Perform daily, pre-flight, post-flight, and periodic aircraft inspections. Assemble, disassemble, modify, repair, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems and components. Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults. Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components. Document repairs, inspections, modifications, and test results to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Support training activities and work under general direction.
Requirements:
Secret Clearance required prior to start (interim acceptable). Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience in egress systems, survival equipment, and/or related aircraft systems. Experience installing and removing F-18 ejection seats. Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or elevated positions. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally. Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements. Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements. Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Fighter structural modification experience. Fighter electrical modification experience. Ability to safely handle explosive devices and hazardous components.
