Job Description

We are seeking an Avionics Installation Technician to join our team in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The ideal candite will be both mechanically and technically inclined, detailed oriented with the ability to learn at a quick pace (basic electrical troubleshooting skills is a plus). In this role, you'll be trained to install avionics systems into certified and experimental aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 23 and 25. Essential Functions Prepare new aircraft wiring harnesses in accordance with wiring diagrams and installation documentation. Assists in high-quality installation, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionic systems and components on a variety of aircraft using proper hand tools, specialized equipment, and support equipment. Support maintains and complies with all Environmental, Health, and Safety, for federal, OSHA, state, and local regulations. Performs other related duties, as assigned by management. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Must possess experience substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description. Must possess demonstrated ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and installations manuals. Must possess the ability to kneel, crawl, sit and lay for long durations. Must possess the ability to climb and step up and down onto aircraft. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs for short durations as needed.
