Job Description

VP Aviation is hiring experienced Aircraft Avionics Technicians to support commercial aircraft heavy maintenance at a well-established MRO in Wilmington, Ohio. If you have recent commercial or military aircraft avionics experience and enjoy troubleshooting, installations, modifications, and system testing, we'd like to talk with you. Job Details Contract position with long-term potential Commercial aircraft heavy maintenance (MRO) Competitive pay Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial aircraft Join an experienced maintenance team Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, modify, install, and test aircraft avionics systems Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals Perform operational testing using avionics test equipment Troubleshoot electrical and avionics discrepancies Fabricate and install aircraft wiring, wire bundles, harnesses, and connectors Complete maintenance documentation accurately Maintain tools and work area while following safety procedures Communicate project status with supervisors and team members Requirements Recent commercial or military aircraft avionics experience Experience troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems Ability to read aircraft wiring diagrams and technical manuals Experience using avionics test equipment Knowledge of standard aircraft wiring practices Reliable transportation Apply today!
