Job Description
Job Summary
Precision, LLC is a long-standing Part 135 Certificate Holder looking to add additional Avionics Technicians to its team. Our headquarters is located in McMinnville, OR, though the actual location of the worksite will involve frequent trips nationwide and internationally.
Relocation is not necessary for this position though residing near to our headquarters is a plus. The schedule is a full-time rotational schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
Test and troubleshoot instruments, avionics components and assemblies using calibrated test equipment in hangar and field environments.
Install and/or replace electrical components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft.
Set up and operate ground and flight test equipment to perform operational checks and functional flight tests of electronic systems.
Coordinate with supervisors and fellow technicians to ensure timeliness of work completion.
Able to pass a DOT-FAA pre-employment drug screening physical.
Keep and maintain records of maintenance and repair work as required by applicable federal regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
Required Skills
Valid driver's license and passport required.
Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
2+ years of recent experience with avionics installations and troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical equipment installation drawings.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations and Inspection Procedures as related to aircraft electronics.
Preferred Skills
Airframe specific experience with Airbus Helicopters and Pilatus Aircraft.
Knowledge of CAD programming.
Background in Garmin and Technisonic products.
