Job Title:
Aircraft Avionics Technician Job Description We are looking for a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician with experience in avionic systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. You should be adept at documenting work performed, controlling equipment status tags, and logging critical information during installation. Reading and interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals is essential. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to perform duties on all shifts, regardless of weather or physical conditions, while wearing required safety equipment. Responsibilities Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical installation information. Verify parts requests and read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, and wiring diagrams. Use manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, and heat shrink guns. Utilize complex, specialized aircraft test equipment. Effectively communicate with team members and supervision. Essential Skills Avionic experience in troubleshooting, functional testing, and avionics systems. Proficiency in wiring, wire harnesses, and avionics installation and repair. Experience with aircraft electronics, maintenance, and assembly. Skill in soldering and working with coaxial components. Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience preferred. Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft. General knowledge of aviation electrical and avionic components and systems. Military experience will be considered. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
