Avionics Technician Line Up Aviation - 3.3 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Technical documentation High school diploma or GED Electrical systems Aviation Assembly line Full Job Description Avionic Technician - Philadelphia, PA Contract | Full Time | Immediate Start Competitive Hourly Rate (DOE) On behalf of our longstanding client, we are seeking skilled Avionic Technicians to join a rotary aircraft assembly line in Philadelphia on a rolling contract basis. This hands-on role involves installing avionics equipment within airframes, from simple to highly complex, following detailed assembly schedules and utilising specialised tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and electrical components Accurately document work, manage equipment status tags, and log critical installation data Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical manuals Perform duties reliably across all shifts and working conditions
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' avionics experience on rotary or fixed-wing aircraft Strong knowledge of aviation electrical and avionic systems, including technical documentation High school diploma or equivalent Right to live and work in the US without restrictions Experience in an aviation assembly line environment is essential A&P licence desirable Military aviation experience advantageous Successful candidates will have their pay rate determined by their experience, which will be assessed during the interview stage. Candidates who pass the interview will be required to complete a skills assessment on their first day to confirm their ability to perform at the required level.
