What You'll Do

In this advanced engineering role, you will:

Leadplex EMC engineering efforts involving EMI, HIRF, LIRF, lightning, and electrostatic protection

Conduct detailed analyses, simulations, and similarity assessments to ensurepliance

Define project scope, identify risks, and manage technical milestones

Review and approve engineering documentation, including test procedures and certification reports

Support EMC certification activities and resolve technical issues affecting production and in-service aircraft

Analyze new and modified system designs and rmend EMCpliance solutions

Lead testing initiatives, including overseeing aircraft-level EMC testing and preparing reports

Develop and update technical standards and requirements for electromagnetic protection

Collaborate with R D teams, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering groups

Act as EMC lead on projects, mentoring junior engineers and guiding team performance

Support knowledge sharing, process improvement, and innovation initiatives

Represent the EMC function in technical meetings and stakeholder discussions

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or Physics

Minimum 8 years of EMC experience (industry andor academic)

At least 4 years of aerospace EMC certificationqualification experience

Strong knowledge of EMC standards (RTCADO-160, SAE ARPs)

Familiarity with airworthiness regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA)

Proven experience in system analysis, testing, and certification processes

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbalmunication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience participating in aircraft development programs

Expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools

Recognized specialization in one or more EMC disciplines

Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership

Knowledge of the aviation industry and product lifecycle support

Bilingual (FrenchEnglish) is an asset

Pay Details:

$74.64 to $84.64 per hour
