Install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and perform pre-installation and installation of aircraft interiors. Conduct interior repairs on cabin assemblies made of fiberglass, plastic, and composites, using techniques like painting and filling. Perform this role across various stages of the aircraft assembly process, in both factory and flight line settings. Interpret engineering drawings to select the correct parts, materials, tools, and hardware for installations. Execute proper cleaning, surface prep, and masking for rework.Required Skills:
High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience. 3+ years of aerospace or manufacturing experience with decorative finishes and cabin systems (galleys, seats, liners). Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schematics. Technical expertise in filing, sanding, painting, decorative laminates, and cosmetic rework. Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Non-managerial position.- ITAR Definition Under 120.
