Product Review Engineer 2: 147752
Job Description:
Supports aircraft production by analyzing engineering issues and ensuring design intent is properly implemented during manufacturing. This role performs root cause analysis, develops dispositions for production non-conformances, and collaborates closely with production teams to resolve structural, systems, and manufacturing issues. The engineer applies design and engineering principles to research technical problems and implement solutions that maintain product quality, safety, and compliance. This position serves as an engineering representative on the factory floor, supporting aircraft build and post-production activities.Job Requirements:

- Analyze production non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions.
- engineering and design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research technical, operational, and quality issues to support the development of final engineering solutions.
- Identify, document, and analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that may impact design intent or safety.
- Develop and implement product and process improvements to enhance production performance and quality.
- Support Integrated Product Teams and participate in design reviews.
- Represent the engineering organization on the factory floor during aircraft production and post-production activities.
- Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards and requirements.
- Develop engineering correspondence to support continued safe operation and maintenance of aircraft equipment.
- Participate in on-site repair teams, accident investigations, and engineering support activities.
- Analyze damage repairs or structural modifications to determine appropriate jacking and shoring requirements.
- Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength analysis.
- Develop non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards. Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work performed in a factory environment with exposure to stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, and chemical hazards.
