Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. The role requires technical proficiency, regulatory compliance, precise documentation, and the ability to work extended shifts in a production or maintenance environment.

            Tools:

            Required Education & Job Requirements

            • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
            • A minimum of 4 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
            • Experience with corporate jet, commercial, or military aircraft maintenance, including Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections if formerly in the military.
            • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, or FAA Airframe license.
            • Personal set of tools.
            • Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Skills
            • GROL certification or Aircraft Electronics Technician certification.
            • Certification from an avionics or electrical aircraft technical school or equivalent military training. Job Duties & Functions
            • Install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
            • Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
            • Perform and document all work in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.
            • Remove, repair, and reinstall avionics equipment prior to aircraft release.
            • Assemble and install electrical components.
            • Operate ground support equipment as required.
            • Accurately diagnose avionics system issues.
            • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all repairs and work performed on aircraft. Physical Requirements & Environment
