The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs on a variety of bicycles, selling new bicycles, and managing the retail store. We're looking for someone responsible and energetic that can work on their own and give our customers personal service. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bikes Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Utilize hand tools and bike specific tools effectively to complete repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Communicate with customers regarding bike issues and repair options, providing clear explanations of necessary work. Assist in managing inventory of parts and supplies needed for the shop. Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on the latest bike life Experience Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a related field is required. Proficiency in bike maintenance practices and familiarity with retail math for parts sales is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience with both hand tools and power tools is essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
