Duties Perform comprehensive mechanical diagnosis based on symptoms presented by customers or observed during inspection Repair and maintain bicycles, including brake systems, suspension components, gears, drivetrains, and mechanical assemblies Assemble new bikes from parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and safety standards are met Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to assist customers with retail sales, upselling accessories and maintenance products Perform routine maintenance work such as tire repairs, brake adjustments, lubrication, and wheel truing Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs needed and offering maintenance tips to enhance bike longevity Requirements Proven experience as a bicycle service technician or mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge of bicycle systems Familiarity with symptom-based mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and bicycle assembly equipment Ability to lift heavy bikes or parts safely during repair procedures Knowledge of retail sales processes, including POS systems and retail math calculations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Join us to turn your mechanical skills into an exciting career that keeps cyclists rolling smoothly!
