In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to expert for bicycle repairs, maintenance, and assembly, ensuring every rider's experience is safe, reliable, and enjoyable. Your mechanical expertise and passion for cycling will help customers get back on the road or trail with confidence. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced retail environment while sharing your love of bikes with enthusiastic riders. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive bicycle repairs including brake adjustments, suspension servicing, and mechanical systems repair Diagnose mechanical issues based on symptoms and execute effective solutions efficiently Assemble new bicycles accurately using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met Conduct maintenance work such as tire replacements, gear tuning, and wheel truing to optimize bike performance Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs, recommending products, and supporting sales through retail math and POS systems Assist customers with cycling-related questions and promote cycling safety and maintenance tips Handle heavy lifting of bicycles and parts safely during repair and assembly tasks Qualifications Proven service technician experience with bicycle or vehicle maintenance preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in suspension, brake repair, and mechanical systems repair Familiarity with symptom-based mechanical diagnosis to identify issues quickly Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and bicycle assembly techniques Experience with retail sales processes and POS systems is a plus Ability to lift heavy bicycles or parts safely during maintenance work Excellent customer service skills combined with a passion for cycling and maintenance work Join us in delivering top-tier bike care while fostering a vibrant cycling community!
