Lead Mechanic - Cornerstone Ranches Full-Time |

Depends on Experience Cornerstone Ranches is looking for an experienced Lead Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment running strong. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows farm and ranch machinery inside and out. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors and farm implements (tillage equipment, balers, mowers, and more) Service and repair ranch trucks, trailers, and hauling equipment Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems, including pivots, pumps, and wells Keep ATVs/UTVs, generators, and other general ranch equipment in working order Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed Lead and coordinate the maintenance shop, including scheduling repairs, managing parts inventory, and mentoring other mechanics/hands Keep accurate maintenance records and stay ahead of preventive maintenance schedules Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime during critical seasons What We're Looking For Previous experience working on farm or ranch equipment is required Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills across diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Welding/fabrication experience a plus Ability to lead a small team and manage shop priorities Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and put in extra hours during busy seasons Valid driver's license Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision Details Full-time position
