Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Valid drivers license and ability to work in various facility environments.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts.
Diagnose mechanical failures and malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques, then execute timely repairs or coordinate with specialized teams as needed.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status to support asset management and reporting.
Collaborate with engineering and operations personnel to develop maintenance schedules, improve equipment reliability, and implement process improvements.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Role:
The Fixed Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of fixed equipment within industrial or manufacturing facilities. This position focuses on the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other stationary machinery. The technician will work closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment by implementing best practices and adhering to safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby supporting continuous production and operational excellence. Ultimately, the Fixed Maintenance Technician contributes to a safe, productive, and cost-effective working environment by maintaining the integrity of essential fixed assets.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
