Essential Functions:

This Floor Technician position is for SECOND SHIFT, Mon - Fri, with rotating weekends, holidays, and shifts required.

WORKSITE LOCATION

7 Frankford Ave Suite 52 Anniston, AL 36201

Hourly pay rate for 2nd shift is $19.65

Experience withmercial grade buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaning machines (to include all devices/attachments) for the use of specific and professional maintenance of hard surface floors

Ability to determine appropriate cleaning chemicals used to maintain various surfaces (to incl. vinyl, painted, ceramic tile, metal, brick, wood, cork, concrete) as well as performing finishing techniques to protect/preserve various floor finishes

Ability to maintain hospital environment in a sanitary, attracting, and orderly condition

Ability to perform specific cleaning tasks, including dusting horizontal surfaces, and maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report needed repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures

MUST be punctual and maintain regular attendance

Ad to Company rules, technical procedures, and safety policies as may bemunicated to him/her verbally or in writing and in English

Job Requirement

High School Diploma or GED.

6 to 12 months documented experience as a Housekeeper preferred.

Working knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment, safety practices as related to Housekeeping/Janitorial Industry.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Ability to read and understand service requests, container labels, product information, and directions on cleaning chemicals and other material-Must initially pass pre- employment physical, and annual physical tafter.

Must be able to pass

NCIC-III

background check (to include fingering), and yearly review tafter.

Summary

Typical Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Equipment Used:

Mops, brooms, buckets, dust cloths, various cleaning materials, vacuums, safety equipment and any other needed.
