Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliance issues, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and kitchen equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and operational impact. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, including air conditioning units and heating systems. Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation procedures. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within commercial or industrial settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members or clients.
