Job Description
Job Summary
Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include Powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.
Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/ overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.
Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform work within estimated hours.
Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
Execute all required paperwork in conjunction with assigned normal duties.
Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling, and guidance.
Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers to include outside customers.
Be flexible with schedule, Work evenings and weekends when job requires.
Responsible for assisting in maintaining a clean hanger
Requirements
Must provide own tools to support daily job functions
Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)
Two (2) years aircraft maintenance experience on Part 23 and Part 91 category aircraft.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
5-7 years Piston Aircraft experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work indoor or outdoor in all weather conditions with the possibility of high noise levels.
