The Hotel Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities. This position requires a skilled individual who can perform a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring that the hotel environment is safe, functional, and welcoming for guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist in residential painting projects within the hotel as required. Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and concerns. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within the hospitality or manufacturing sectors. Must have electrical, plumbing, hvac, and ptac, experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Mechanical knowledge is essential for performing repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently. Proficiency in English is required for communication with team members and guests. This position requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has a passion for maintaining high standards in hospitality environments.
