Job Description

Maintenance Technician -
Full-Time Compensation:
$20-$25 per hour (based on experience), plus bonuses and benefits We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across multiple areas of property maintenance and take pride in providing high-quality, timely service to our residents and community. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for an individual who is professional, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance throughout the apartment community. Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, drywall, and carpentry-related issues. Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. Complete work orders accurately, thoroughly, and within established timeframes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with residents, supervisors, vendors, and other team members. Follow directions from the Property Manager. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and ensure work is completed correctly the first time.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience. Hold a current EPA certification.
Have demonstrated experience in:
o HVAC o Plumbing o Electrical o Appliance repair o Drywall repair o Carpentry Provide excellent professional references. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. Be receptive to direction and able to follow instructions from supervisors. Be seeking stable, long-term employment. Be self-motivated and capable of working independently. Have a professional, friendly personality and the ability to interact positively with residents on a daily basis. Consistently complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner. Take pride in workmanship and maintain high standards of quality. Be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Have reliable transportation. Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. Successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
