Starting at $18/hour, based on experience, certifications, and technical expertise Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with strong electrical experience to join our team in Decatur, AL. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical maintenance experience along with a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose electrical issues using electrical schematics, meters, and other diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, controls, and other electrical components. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance according to established schedules. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Follow all company safety procedures and electrical safety practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with production and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues. Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role. Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required. Mechanical maintenance experience preferred. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation. Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, sensors, and industrial equipment. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work the 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 AM-6:30 PM . Relevant technical certifications or formal training are a plus.

Compensation Starting pay:

$18/hour , with compensation based on the candidate's experience, certifications, and overall technical expertise . Why Join Us?
