Shifts & Hours:

1st Shift but must be okay with being flexing on call Permanent Role Job Description Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including routine lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, and inspections. Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving spindles, gears, belts, bearings, ballscrews, motors, and related machine components. Diagnose and repair electrical issues on CNC equipment, including sensors, controls, and machine alarms. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Diagnose CNC machine alarms, equipment failures, and recurring downtime issues. Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and implement corrective repairs. Replace worn or damaged components, including bearings, ballscrews, spindles, motors, sensors, gears, and belts. Maintain machine accuracy, stability, reliability, and overall operational performance. Maintain facility systems and equipment that support CNC machining operations. Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime. Test repaired equipment and safely return CNC machines to production. Qualifications U.S. citizenship required. 10+ years of hands-on experience working with CNC machinery. Previous CNC maintenance experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting 5-axis and 6-axis CNC machines. Strong CNC machine maintenance and repair experience. Strong mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment. Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems and machine controls. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience performing preventive and scheduled maintenance on CNC equipment. Ability to remove, replace, and repair CNC machine components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Proficient with diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Knowledge of machine safety standards and safe maintenance practices.
