Job Title:
Maintenance TechnicianSchedule:
Full-Time (Rotating shift schedule and weekends as assigned)Pay Range:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour (commensurate with skills and experience) About the Role Join our team at the Theodore Cement Plant as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will perform tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems across our facility. Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on mechanical systems throughout the facility.
- Service, repair, and lubricate equipment as required by preventative maintenance programs.
- Work alongside and provide operational oversight to third-party contractor personnel.
- Participate in formal and on-the-job training programs to acquire, broaden, and cross-train technical skills.
- Work a rotating shift schedule, including assigned weekends.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety across all work environments.
- Assist other departments and fulfill additional operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.Industrial Experience:
2-4 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated hands-on skills in mechanical troubleshooting, air compressor repair, bearing repair, drive repair, equipment installation, lubrication, piping, rigging, welding/cutting, and fabrication.Computer Skills:
Effective computer and systems operation skills.Travel:
Minimal travel required.Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year technical college degree in a related trade or technical discipline.
- 4-5 years of industrial chemical or heavy industrial facility maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
Safety & Physical Requirements:
- Candidates must strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
- Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal contacts the face to ensure compliance with qualitative and quantitative fit testing standards. Compensation & Total Rewards
