Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay up to 34 per hour Job Description Responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of production equipment and facility systems. This role supports both day-to-day maintenance operations and long-term improvement initiatives through troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance planning, and supporting capital equipment projects. The Maintenance Engineer plays a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, improving manufacturing processes, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of production equipment and facility systems. Support day-to-day maintenance operations. Engage in long-term improvement initiatives through troubleshooting. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance planning. Support capital equipment projects. Maximize equipment uptime. Improve manufacturing processes. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Essential Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, and automation. 2-5 years of maintenance engineering or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., MP2, Maintenance Connection). Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance. Shifts are 1st (7a-7.30p) and 2nd (7p-7.30a), following a 2-2-3 schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phenix City, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
