Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of the property's equipment, systems, and facilities. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and addressing issues to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of the property. The Maintenance Technician I will collaborate with other departments, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall satisfaction of residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, systems, and property structures. Troubleshoot and address mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Conduct property inspections to identify and address potential maintenance concerns. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Fabricate and install components as needed to maintain property standards. Supervise and train junior maintenance staff as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS. Assist with snow removal and seasonal property upkeep. Collaborate with property management and other departments to ensure operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Perform all other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or a related field. Plumbing and electrical knowledge Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Snow removal experience Leadership skills to supervise and train junior staff. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
