Job Description

Job Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for sustaining a preventive maintenance program that optimizes the longevity of the manufacturers warranty on all process equipment. The Maintenance technician maintains and repairs plant facilities including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing repairs with a high standard of excellence. The Maintenance Technician must be safety and quality minded.
Responsibilities:
Strict adherence to safe work practices Maintain a neat, clean work area Prompt, timely, effective communication to management regarding problems with process equipment, buildings and grounds Maintain and repair all vacuum corrugation extrusion equipment Maintain and repair all electrical motors, gas and diesel engines and tools required to maintain buildings and grounds React quickly and properly to resolve problems or equipment failures Prepare and complete work orders and other pertinent paperwork
Occasional Duties :
Locate parts and equipment needed for repairs or maintenance
Requirements/Qualifications:
Technical school degree or equivalent experience Industrial Electrical Experience Electrical controls PLC Experience is a plus. Welding and Fabrication is a plus Mechanical Experience CMMS Experience is a plus. Experience in plastics operations. Physical, mental, visual, and auditory ability to operate powered industrial equipment Conscientious attention to detail and quality Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors Ability to work full time schedule with overtime as needed
