A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
Hiring Immediately We are seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping properties safe, clean, and in great working order. What You'll Do Complete work orders for resident repairs in a timely, professional manner Perform general maintenance, including: Basic plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucet/toilet repairs, etc.) Basic electrical (outlets, light fixtures, breakers, etc.) Basic HVAC troubleshooting (filter changes, thermostat checks; deeper experience a plus) Turn units between residents (patching, painting, minor repairs, hardware replacement) Assist with exterior upkeep: light carpentry, minor concrete/asphalt issues, common-area repairs Perform regular property inspections and preventative maintenance Respond to occasional emergency calls (after-hours as needed) What We're Looking For Prior maintenance/handyman experience , ideally in apartments or residential settings Working knowledge of plumbing , electrical , and some HVAC (HVAC experience is preferred but not required) Ability to use basic tools and maintenance equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Professional, respectful attitude with residents and staff Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Compensation & Benefits $21.88/HR Paid Time Off (PTO)
