Electro-Mechanical Technician Location:
Sycamore, AL 35149
Shift:
2nd Shift 2:45pm-11:45pm with OT as needed
Pay:
$25-$33/ hour

- Maintenance Technician
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
  • Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Trouble shoots and repair plant equipment and processes.
  • Provide support to the production team to produce superior quality materials that meet/exceed client needs. This role supports the needs of manufacturing and facilities to ensure both are in top working order.
  • Properly inspect and maintain shop equipment in accordance with OSHA regulation.
  • Installs functional and structural parts in devices or equipment. Prepares new machines and production equipment for operation.
  • Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools and precisionmeasuring instruments.
  • Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum and process ventilation systems.
  • Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts, adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary, Cleans and lubricates parts, inspects completed repairs and orders replacement parts.
  • Prepares reports, keeps records, maintains appropriate maintenance, repair logs, requisitions for spare parts, and requires maintenance supplies as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop and production floor. Identify, label and stage parts for the equipment.
  • Electrical & Electromechanical Focus; Performs a wide variety of functions such as installation maintenance, repair of equipment for generating, distributing, and utilizing electrical energy. Uses instruments to test circuits, replace or install new power, light, electronic and control circuits.
  • Repairs complex electrical equipment including motors, switches, switchboards, electrical mechanisms, automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms.
  • Performs complex wiring assignments; installs, measures, cuts, bonds, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit.
  • Works from schematics, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
  • Accurately perform the documentation requirements.
