Job Description Drive the future of mobility with us as a Maintenance Technician - HPDC with our client in Sylacauga, AL.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform repair, maintenance, inspection, testing, and adjustment activities for plant equipment, machinery, buildings, and grounds. This role supports safe and reliable manufacturing operations through preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, emergency response, and timely completion of maintenance work orders. Relocation assistance available, including consideration for candidates relocating from outside Alabama, based on relocation distance (TBD):

2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience OR 2-year Technical associate degree Preferred Education and Experience 2-year Technical associate degree Position Requirements Ability to read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematic, and ladder logic diagrams
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems
Thorough knowledge of electrical control systems for machinery
Ability to interpret equipment logic and troubleshoot using an external programming device such as a laptop computer
Proficiency with PLC controllers and logic
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with servo drives
Knowledge of data acquisition programs
Robot controls and troubleshooting capabilities
Automation and control systems knowledge
Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience
Knowledge of sensing devices
CAD proficiency
Computer software proficiency
Experience with Allen Bradley
PLC 5, RS
Logix 5000, SLC 500, and ControlLogix systems is a plus
Experience with Siemens S7, DeviceNet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP systems is a plus
Die Casting, CNC, Robotics, and/or large hydraulic systems experience is a plus
Ability to use oxygen/acetylene torch equipment
Ability to perform minor welding using an arc welder
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to respond to Safety and Emergency calls as directed by the shift supervisor
Ability to strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations Main Responsibilities Perform repair, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance on all plant equipment and machinery
Complete maintenance work professionally while considering available time and materials
Inspect completed work areas to verify removal of nonessential items and confirm machine components, guards, and safety devices/interlocks remain operationally intact
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
Carry a tool pouch or toolbox to every assigned job
Adjust, tighten, and repair equipment during production breaks, lunch periods, and work stoppages as directed by the shift supervisor
Monitor equipment and machinery for potential issues and proactively prepare for and conduct repairs
Complete work orders promptly and accurately with all required information
Route emergency work order data and planned work order information to the Maintenance Supervisor
Maintain clean and organized work and shop areas at all times
Perform repair, maintenance, inspection, testing, and adjustment activities on equipment, machinery, buildings, and grounds
Respond to Safety and Emergency calls as directed by the shift supervisor
Perform tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and other management personnel through the direction of the shift supervisor
Qualifications:

Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems
