Job Description
Maintenance Technician - Job Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility, including repairing broken locks, doors, walls, lighting fixtures, wheelchairs, and other equipment. Maintain the facility grounds by mowing, trimming, collecting trash, and ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and presentable. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, mechanical equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. Complete routine and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Perform painting, flooring repairs, carpentry, and general upkeep of the facility. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address safety concerns in a timely manner. Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in proper working condition. Follow all safety procedures and comply with applicable building codes and facility policies. Assist with room setups, moving furniture and equipment, and supporting special projects as needed. Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work and report any major repair needs to management. Perform other duties as assigned to support the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
