Job Description

Seeking General Building Maintenance Technicians for automotive facility in Vance, AL. 6a-6:30p 6p-6:30a 7 days a week-Pittman schedule, 2on/2off/2on/3off/2 on/2 off/3on then rotation starts over again General Maintenance Technician I $18
  • 20 Entry-level role supporting facility maintenance.
Assists with PMs, basic plumbing, drywall patching, painting, and flooring. Follows safety, LOTO, and SOPs.
MQM Maturity:
Awareness. Basic ability to perform tasks such as:
  • Replacing faucets, unclogging drains, simple fixture installations
  • Patching drywall, small touch-up painting
  • Replacing sections of flooring (e.g., tile)
  • Assisting with roof repairs (small leaks)
  • Minor general repairs (door adjustments, tightening fixtures, clearing drains), ability to work safely from lift as needed Years of Experience 1-3 years
  • Years of Site Experience 0-1
  • Constant Supervision Autonomy:
    Can follow instructions and perform basic tasks with guidance and supervision; requires approval for troubleshooting and repairs General Maintenance Technician II $20
  • 23 Independently executes multi-trade maintenance supporting asset reliability.
Performs PMs, troubleshoots plumbing and facility issues, completes drywall repairs and medium projects, and provides task guidance.
MQM Maturity:
Execution.
Intermediate proficiency in:
  • Plumbing systems: troubleshooting leaks, pipe repairs, and fixture replacement
  • Full drywall repairs, large-scale painting, flooring installation
  • Managing routine roof maintenance and minor repairs
  • General repairs like adjusting doors, conducting preventive maintenance tasks, ability to work safely from lift as needed Years of Experience 4-11 years
  • Years of Site Experience 1-5
Occasional Supervision Autonomy:
Can independently handle most maintenance tasks across systems; requires minimal guidance for complex projects INDSJ
