Job Description
Job Summary A growing manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working with automated machinery, conveyors, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled equipment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and facility equipment Diagnose electrical issues including motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control systems Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Support robotic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed Perform welding, fabrication, and machine repair when necessary Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong electrical troubleshooting experience (480V, motors, controls, VFDs preferred) Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated systems Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Robotics troubleshooting experience is preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Automated manufacturing environment Stamping, assembly, machining, or high-volume production equipment Preventative maintenance programs Continuous improvement/lean manufacturing exposure Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Holiday pay Overtime opportunities Career growth opportunities Apply today to join a stable manufacturing company with advanced equipment and long-term career growth opportunities.
