We pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled service in an inclusive and community focused environment. Our property has just finished a total interior renovation of all 220 units. We are seeking a dynamic, quality-focused, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems on the property. The role encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks and service requests that require technical expertise, including HVAC repairs, electrical installations, plumbing work, pool maintenance, light carpentry, drywall repair, and appliance servicing. The maintenance Technician will collaborate with other maintenance team members to uphold the high maintenance standards established by Pankey Properties, LLC.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
  • HVAC certification is mandatory (WILL
TRAIN FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE
)
  • Rotating on-call schedule required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition by inspecting and repairing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, drywall, porches, and exterior construction as needed.
  • Respond promptly to residential service requests and concerns.
  • Provide on-call emergency service as necessary.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues.
  • Report maintenance concerns for repairs in vacant units, models, clubhouse, and common areas to the Community Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with management and maintenance staff to foster a cohesive team that represents the quality and professionalism of Pankey Properties, LLC.
  • Maintain open communication with the Community Manager.
Other Job Functions:
  • Attend and participate in training seminars as requested.
  • Assist other staff members as needed.
  • Deliver various communications to residents as required.
  • Attend and assist in setting up resident functions and activities.
  • Operate motorized vehicles on or off property for company business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Execute various community maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Changing light bulbs/fixtures and filters
  • Repairing locks
  • Installing and repairing window coverings
  • Conducting minor HVAC maintenance
  • Performing caulking and touch-up painting
  • Managing snow removal and pool maintenance
  • Implementing preventative maintenance procedures
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling maintenance inventory and supplies.
  • Move heavy objects as requested
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager on special maintenance projects and the preventative maintenance of building components and mechanical systems.
